As I/my partner is in labour is it too late for us to save our baby's cord blood and tissue?

The short, the answer is - it's only too late once you've given birth. It may seem a little stressful making such an important decision at the last minute (not least because you may not feel you're making a well informed decision regarding the choices available to you!) but we often receive calls from the hospitals whilst mum's in labour and are very experienced at making the process as smooth as possible.

Some hospitals have collection kits on site. Some don't. In such cases we can normally get a kits to you very quickly. We're always happy to complete full documentation after your new arrival is born. We just need enough information from the parents to ensure the kit meets regulatory requirements and will be happy to walk you through this process in no time at all.
